About me
Briefly… I was born in 1970 in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy. I went to college at the Turin Politechnic in Torino, Italy where I got a Laurea degree (equivalent to a MS) in Electric Engineering and Computer Science. I also worked in Torino for a while. I was lucky enough to find a job at the CSP right when the Internet was beginning to happen. It was at the dawn of Linux, and working there with other smart, enthusiastic people propelled me to a job in USA, where the Internet was really happening. I went to Los Angeles since after Torino I needed a warmer place where stuff doesn’t freeze if you leave it in the car.
Here in the US I worked in different areas, from web-based email systems, to Java palm device programming, ending up working on massive ETL systems at Yahoo.
Working with computers, beside being my job, is also one of my hobbies. In my spare time I also like to read, to run, to mountain bike, and to play soccer.
I also like good wine, good food, and good beer. I Also traveling and photography. This is my Flickr page, feel free to have a look.
To give you a better idea of who I am, well, keep reading, I’ll write down bits of my thought.
